BOOKS
As a book artist, I use the book form as a medium for my artwork. My aesthetic is informed by my background as a trained bookbinder and graphic designer. I tend to reflect on my personal history and the world around me for inspiration.
SEWING
Sewing, for me, is a meditative process of experimenting with shape, color and pattern. Creating useful and beautiful objects, especially quilts, for and in collaboration with my family and friends is a great passion of mine.
WORKSHOPS
I teach bookbinding workshops at the San Francisco Center for the Book, and also travel to teach bookbinding and box making for book arts groups or guilds. You are welcome to take a look at my calendar to see what is upcoming.
